The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program:

Because Every Child Deserves to Experience Christmas

Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. And thanks to supporters of The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program, thousands of children will find joy waiting under their Christmas trees.

Many families are working 2 and 3 jobs just to make ends meet to make sure that rent is paid and lights are on. They worry on how they can provide a Christmas gift for their child.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing or toys for underprivileged children through the support of donors.

We are asking the community and businesses to host or adopt an angel.  Angel Trees are decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child in need of presents. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.

Give Cheer and adopt an Angel, to support an Angel in your town, contact your local Salvation Army in your area.

In many locations, The Salvation Army needs volunteers to help distribute the gifts along with food for holiday meals to the participating families.
