To many people, The Salvation Army is symbolized by red kettles and Angel Trees. Most probably don’t think about us until the bells start ringing, and they quickly forget when the Angel Trees come down.

But, we don’t stop providing our services after Christmas. Day in and day out, all year round, we are providing food, shelter, education, counseling, and care for the members of our community who need it most. In order to provide the best services we can to as many people as possible, we need more than one-time donations. We need more than casual relationships.

What we need are partners.

What is a Partner for Good?

Partners for Good are local businesses that establish an ongoing giving relationship with The Salvation Army. They join us in recognizing our shared duty to care for the members of our community who need it most.

This relationship can take many forms, from financial support to volunteer hours to services offered. These donations may be given throughout the year, at a specific time or event, or in response to an urgent need. Whatever form their gifts take, we know that when we need help fulfilling our mission, our Partners for Good will answer that call.

What is required of a Partner for Good?

Partners for Good develop a strong, long-term relationship with The Salvation Army. They understand and share our values and our mission, and they are always the first to answer when we need help meeting our goals. And, while they may not share our faith, they respect our Christian mission and ministry.

Partners for Good do not just make a one-time donation every year. They have contact with ambassadors from The Salvation Army on a regular basis. We call them when we have needs or opportunities that we believe they are well-suited for. They also receive invitations to special Partners-only events where we celebrate the good work we’ve donate together, and look forward to the future of our relationships.
