The Salvation Army provides youth character-building programs, music education, camping opportunities, and more.

Learning is the key to unlocking the possibilities inherent in every young life. But on the streets of too many neighborhoods, a child’s love of learning is too often obscured by realities such as hunger and violence.

Providing services that help nurture the love of learning are among the highest priorities of The Salvation Army. Through our youth character-building programs, we provide a positive, stimulating environment in which to learn and a wide range of educational opportunities for children of all ages.

The Salvation Army offers high-quality after-school activities, summer camps, character development classes, leadership training, and more.

Our programs for children continue to be highly effective – strengthening bodies, providing safe havens from the streets and offering the educational and program support to help secure a brighter future.
