DIRECTOR OF FINANCE (f/t 40) FINANCE:  Plans, develops, manages, and controls the day-to-day operations of the accounting, finance, and personnel functions for an Area Command or large Corps; serves as liaison and financial advisor to the local units, Advisory Boards, Divisional Headquarters, and Territorial Headquarters by reporting the financial status and researching financial discrepancies; manages and monitors all general ledger, purchasing, budgetary,; ensures all accounting and financial functions are in compliance with The Salvation Army policy as well as local, state, and federal regulations; ensures the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and integrity of all financial reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or a relate field and five years progressively responsible experience performing complex and varied accounting and bookkeeping functions for an organization with at least two years in a supervisory capacity or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

SOCIAL SERVICES WORKER (f/t 40) Program Services:  Provides social service assistance to eligible clients in the following areas: food, clothing, and financial assistance; interviews clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services; prepares accurate and complete client records; refers clients to community agencies and maintains effective working relationships with the same; ensures compliance with program policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or G.E.D. and two years’ experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

CORRECTIONS MONITOR (f/t 40) Corrections:  Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring accountability, safety, security and compliance to corrections facility rules; monitors client behavior and serves as liaison between client and counselor communicating pertinent information; administers drug/alcohol testing as required; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information regarding facility occupancy and client accountability.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or G.E.D. and one year experience performing security work preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age.                 Valid State Driver’s License. Ability to obtain N.C.I.C. and F.C.I.C.

ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK – (p/t 20) program ZServices Assists the Crisis Management Department with a variety of clerical support work including routine typing, filing, and photocopying of reoccurring correspondence, forms, lists, logs, records etc. under close supervision of an immediate supervisor; answers the telephone and provides general information regarding the department operations and/or services; gathers intake and assessment information from clients.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or G.E.D. required supplemented by additional secretarial courses preferred. Some record-keeping experience desirable but not required

RESIDENT MONITOR– (p/t 29) Low Demand Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that the shelter is maintained in a neat and proper order; ensures compliance of the treatment plan and teaching skills are adhered to.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and one year experience performing security or social service work preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:  Valid State Driver’s License meeting Salvation Army driving standards, CPR and First Aid Training Certificate, as required.

CASE WORKER– (f/t 40) Low Demand: Monitors assigned caseload of clients participating in a short-term life management program; establishes program plan/goals and evaluates client’s progress by conducting routine meetings with client and/or staff; serves as advocate for client in order to acquire services that will enable them to functionally cope with their environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Two years of college coursework from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field and Two years’ experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
