The Empty Stocking Fund, sponsored by The Northwest Florida Daily News, is an annual fundraising event that raises awareness of the need for support of The Salvation Army’s programs and services.

This year’s goal is $100,000 and you can help us reach this goal by donating to the fund.

How Does Empty Stocking Work?

  • Ways to Give:

    • Checks or cash can be dropped off at the Northwest Florida Daily News, 2 Eglin Parkway NE, in Fort Walton Beach from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Checks can also be mailed to the Empty Stocking Fund at the Daily News, P.O. Box 2949, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32549. Please make checks out to Empty Stocking Fund.
    • You can also text the word: emptystocking to 41444 to give your donation.

    All donations for the fund are being collected by the Daily News. Lists of donations and donors' names will appear regularly in the Northwest Florida Daily News unless the donor requests anonymity.
