The Angel Tree program allows donors to select a tag for a child or children from qualified families unable to provide gifts and clothing to their children during the holidays. For many donors in the community selecting a child(ren) to provide gifts for has become a special tradition. For participating companies and groups, the sponsorship program is a wonderful opportunity for employees to give back to their community through a fun and heartwarming tradition.
Thank you to all of the volunteers and sponsors who helped us adopt over 1,200 children and over 1,700 seniors, in 2016. We hope you will consider adopting a child or senior this year. As we get closer to the Holiday Season we will provide information about how and where you can find tags for the children and seniors in need along with the drop off location for the gifts.
When life is hard and there are no gifts under the tree, your help will bring smiles on Christmas morning. Thank you for becoming and Angel Tree sponsor!
What are “Forgotten Angels”?
Despite our best efforts and the overwhelming generosity of our community partners, hundreds of Angels do not get selected from the Angel Tree each year. There are also many others who were selected off of the tree, but their gifts were not returned for distribution. If you would like to help us provide toys for these Forgotten Angels, you can do so by hosting a toy drive or by selecting a Forgotten Angel tag off of one of our Angel Trees.
