Camp Keystone in North Florida

The Salvation Army Florida Residential Camp Experience

Keystone Camp is a one week residential camp on 260 acres in North Florida where children can enjoy sports, swimming, horseback riding, exploring the outdoors and making crafts.

Beyond the recreation, with the help of trained counselors they learn how to live together with a diverse group of neighbors, dealing with the troubling issues and concerns that challenge them in their daily lives.

Last year (2015), we sent 15 Immokalee children for a special week to enjoy horseback riding, a challenge course, an athletic complex and other fun activities.

It costs $250 to send one child from Collier County to camp for a week. Through generous community donations, we are able to send deserving children for an unforgettable experience.

How it’s possible? Your donations! We appreciate donations of any amount to support our Summer Camp programs.

2015 Day Camp Kids

Summer Day Camp

The Salvation Army Naples Camp Experience

Our Summer Day Camp provides 35 children a safe, fun-filled and educational experience. Summer Day Camp programs are based at our Child Care Center located at 3180 Estey Avenue in Naples, Florida. Summer Camp is held Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and 2016 camp dates will soon be announced. Lots of fun activities are planned including swimming, weekly field trips and more, all designed to make the summer both fun and interesting in a positive, safe and nurturing environment.

Community support helps us keep fees low for families struggling with summer care costs, rising food and gasoline prices, and declining seasonal employment. Your donation helps a disadvantaged child enjoy the summer with other children of the same age instead of being left “home alone.” We thank ALL our sponsors!

Will you or your business sponsor a child's Summer Day Camp Experience?

It costs $500 to sponsor a child for the full summer session and $300 for a half session. Sponsorship helps cover field trips, fees and lunches.

Since 1994, The Salvation Army in Naples has provided Summer Camp options for Collier County children. Participating families pay a nominal sum towards the camp; all programs are made possible through the generous donations we receive.

2016 Update

The children we serve in Immokalee, who attend Camp Keystone, are in the greatest need this year, with several needing sponsorship to attend.

Support our 2016 Summer Day Camp by sponsoring a trip for campers or activity materials.
