A few words from our clients….

“There are so many, this never would have happened’s….’ if A.K. hadn’t had the opportunity to come through the amazing rehab program offered free to alcoholics and addicts who want it.  There is nothing I wouldn’t do to support this program.  On 11/17/16 A.K. will celebrate two years on continuous sobriety/clean time.  We are both committed to paying forward our joy and unlimited gratitude.  God bless us every one.  Please help us with this vital program.”
J. K. – mother of A.K. who graduated from VIP-ER in November,  2014.

Ms. H, who has a seven year old daughter, would be the first to tell you that things haven’t always been easy for her.  She went through some rough times and found herself in The Salvation Army’s FAITH program, where she and her daughter were given a chance to start over.”
This is quote from Habitat Humanity newsletter in June 2015
celebrating ownership of her new 3 bedroom, two bath, one car garage home.
Ms. S.H. came to The Salvation Army CRP program in July, 2010; entered the FAITH program in November 2010 and graduated in January, 2012.
“Ever since the FAITH program, I have set all my bills on auto pay in order to make sure all my bills are paid on time and careful not to add any more delinquencies to my credit as I work on pay off my debit……I have a credit score of 700!!!”

This July 2015 message from J. H. serves as a testimony of how this program helped a
homeless family become and remain self-sufficient.
(Ms. J and her son graduated from the FAITH program in September, 2008.)
” I have $8.62 for food this week.” L.C. is a single woman in her mid-forties and her house was in foreclosure.  She received a food box from The Salvation Army Food Pantry.  In addition to canned and boxed goods, she also received lettuce, tomatoes, orange juice, English muffins, bread, a pound cake, bacon, turkey and other items.  Her favorite item, however, was the fresh broccoli.
“Do you know how long it has been since I had fresh broccoli?” (January 2012)
