The Salvation Army Center of Hope, which has been in operation since 2000, has transitioned it’s facility to a Veterans program and an Emergency Family Shelter program.
  • The Salvation Army Veterans Program, which has been operating since 2009, provides transitional housing to eligible male Veterans through the VA Grant and Per Diem Program and Health Care for Homeless Programs. All Veterans are referred through the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. We provide intensive case management for eligible single men. The Center's programming is designed to reduce barriers to economic self-sufficiency for homeless men. Its goals are to increase skills and/or income, residential stability, and self-determination. Center of Hope services include case management, meals, clothing, transportation, life skills, and on-site NA/AA meetings. The 22-bed center is a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week, year-round program providing a stable living environment for homeless Veterans who are residents of Palm Beach County.
  • The Salvation Army Emergency Family Shelter, which just opened this year, provides emergency shelter to families consisting of at least one adult and one minor under the age of 18 years of age. Center of Hope services include case management, meals, clothing, transportation, life skills, and on-site NA/AA meetings. COH can house up to six families. Referrals to this program is through the Palm Beach County Philip D. Lewis Center Ph. 561 904 7900.
