Camp Gotta Crop will take place at Camp Keystone in Starke, Florida on February 11-14, 2016, with Lt. Colonel Karol Seiler serving as our guest.
The theme this year is
Life Makes the Best Story
With focus on the Scripture, Psalm 145:4 (The Message) –
“Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts.”
What is the registration fee?
We have divided the fee into two price points. The fees for this year are as follows:
$200.00 per person for Cabin Housing, with bed and bath linen NOT provided.
$225.00 per person for Hotel, Inn & Lodge Housing, with bed and bath linen provided.
How do you register?
We ask each registrant for Camp Gotta Crop to do so through the nearest Florida Salvation Army corps. We have included a link to help you find a Florida corps and their contact information.
If you do not live in Florida, we ask you to contact Kim Touchton for instructions on how to register. All corps locations are prepared to accept your registration regardless of if they have a scrapbooking group.
What information will the corps need from you for Registration?
The information needed for registration is the following:
- Your First & Last Name
- Your Personal Email Address
- Would you be willing to be in a second cropping room? Yes/No.
- Special Needs, such as food allergies, need of a handicap room, etc.
- Housing Preference – Option 1) $200.00 Cabin Option 2) $225.00 Hotel, Inn, Lodge
Note: The local corps may ask for more information to better communicate with you during the time leading up to the retreat.
You will notice we are asking for Housing Preference for registration. The reason is because we have the two price point options. We also want to make sure you know:
Cropping Rooms & Housing will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis. Because of this process, Housing Preference is subject to availability.
NOTE ABOUT HOUSING: We have housing available for 2 to 4 persons per Hotel/Inn/Lodge room, or more if your preference is a Cabin. We are unable to provide housing for single occupancy, including Officers. We are happy to provide you with information for off-site lodging at your expense if single occupancy lodging is needed. For housing purposes, let us know at the time of registration if you will be securing single occupancy lodging for anyone in your group.
When is Registration Information & Payment Due?
Contact your local Salvation Army corps to send in your registration information and payment during the month of October.
Registration at DHQ will open for corps groups on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 8:30 AM. We will not process any group registrations prior to this date. The final day for Salvation Army corps to register will be Friday, November 20, 2015.
As you may know, Camp Gotta Crop is a very popular retreat that attracts women from all over Florida and beyond. Space fills up quickly, so do not delay in turning in your registration information and payment to your local Salvation Army. As we anticipate the retreat, we ask you to inquire about how to get involved in local crops and other Women’s Ministry groups at your local Salvation Army corps. Not all corps have crops, but one may be near you!
