The Salvation Army is known for assisting throughout the world after disasters.
Would you like to serve with The Salvation Army after a disaster? It’s as easy as taking a class.
On Friday, August 26, join us for a free four-hour course, Introduction to Emergency Disaster Services. The course provides participants with an overview of The Salvation Army’s mission and its role within disaster work. Participants will also be taught how to prepare and equip themselves for a disaster deployment. The class will be held from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at 2450 Edison Avenue. Registration is recommended.
This course is designed for new disaster workers who have limited disaster experience and who have just begun their association with The Salvation Army’s emergency disaster services program.
Register online by visiting the Disaster Services website. Scroll to the class offered on Friday, August 26, in Fort Myers, and click the “Register” button.
