This holiday season from Monday, December 5 to December, 24, Stanley Steemer will be running a National Campaign which benefits The Salvation Army!
The public will be encouraged to upload or send in a “Selfless Selfie” of themselves with The Salvation Army Red Kettle directly to their landing page, www.SelflessSelfieContest.com, or using #SelflessSelfieContest on Instagram and Twitter. For every selfie received using these two methods, Stanley Steemer will donate $1 (up to $20,000) to The Salvation Army. The funds received will be split evenly among the territories to be used specifically to feed families per their request.
Stanley Steemer will be hosting this contest on their landing page and promoting it through paid and organic social posts and emails in their database. They welcome The Salvation Army’s assistance in promoting this through our social media outlets as well!
From November 1 – December 24, shoppers can help their neighbors in need by purchasing and donating a Bag for a Brighter Holiday. Contents of the bag are the essentials in making a holiday meal: canned corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, and gravy; dried mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, biscuit mix, and brownie mix.
Save-a-Lot will donate the bags of food to our Food Pantry.
Visit the Save-a Lot in the San Carlos Park area (U.S. 41 at Sanibel) to purchase a Bag for a Brighter Holiday.
