Joining the Veterans’ Residence as a part of the Midtown project, 3010 Apartments houses 58 one-bedroom units universally designed for individuals with a variety of special needs. Each apartment features a full bathroom, kitchen, and living/dining area.

When a weather advisory is issued by the National Weather Service, The Salvation Army St. Louis will open up heating or cooling centers to provide shelter. Cooling center locations are activated when a Heat Advisory is issued when the Heat Index is expected to reach 105 degrees or air temperature reaches at least 100 degrees. The Salvation Army activates the warming centers when a cold advisory is issued or when the temperatures fall below 32 degrees.

Renovated in 2010, The Railton Apartments offer downtown living for the St. Louis workforce at a reasonable rate. Units offer 1 to 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living space. The Railton also includes a computer center, fitness facility, laundry center and meeting spaces for resident use.

Adjusting to life at home after returning from war can be as trying as the war, itself. Some veterans may find themselves homeless, estranged from families, and unable to live the lives they once knew. Seeing a need to expand the services of the Harbor Light Center, The Salvation Army implemented a plan to build a Veterans Residence on Locust Street downtown to accommodate the growing number of veterans in need.

Booth Manor offers a mixture of comfort and style for seniors in St. Louis. Our building fills an important local need for affordable housing. About two-thirds of Booth Manor residents are subsidized by HUD or other assistance programs, while the remaining third pay reasonable market rates. Family Haven is a 74-bed transitional housing resource for women and children, and families. It is one of the only family-focused shelters in St. Louis County. Case managers and staff provide various services and resources focused on family stability and creating a pathway to hope.
