This Giving Tuesday, The Salvation Army of Orange and Osceola Counties was honored to join our media partner, WKMG News 6, at beautiful Cranes Roost Park for a day dedicated to generosity and local impact. Supporters, families, and community members came together to shine a light on the programs that help empower individuals and strengthen families all year long.
Giving Tuesday is more than a single day of giving, it is a reminder of what is possible when a community unites with purpose. At The Salvation Army, every donation fuels programs that offer Hunger, Housing, and Hope to our neighbors. This includes emergency assistance, food security programs, shelter support, financial literacy, Pathway of Hope case management, disaster services, and enriching youth initiatives.
Throughout the day at Cranes Roost Park, countless supporters stopped by to share in the spirit of the season and to learn more about how their generosity makes a local difference. Our partnership with WKMG News 6 helps amplify these stories of transformation and ensures the community knows that help—and hope—are always available.
