  • Be an Emergency Service Crew Member

    When Disaster strike over our area or even far away, The Salvation Army mobilize crews to serve those affected by it.
  • Be an Advisory Board Member

    The Salvation Army, Winter Haven Corps is looking for influencing, and highly respected members of our Communities (Winter Haven, Lake Wales, Frostproof, Haines City, Lake Alfred, Davenport, Eagle Lake) to support the Services by using their time and their business expertise, advising our staff in the decision-making process.
  • Be an Angel for an Angel

    Our highly efficient Angel Tree Program supply toys and clothing to children (12 and under) of low income families within our communities. Anyone can sponsor one child, a family, or organized groups to sponsor even more children. Working in the Toy Shop, sorting and preparing the Angel Tree Bags is also a heavy, but highly rewarded task which is been done with volunteers.

Direct Donations

  • Program Financial Supporter

    Many of our programs need monetary donations, Any one can make online donations which are redirected to our Local Unit is your Credit Card Zip Code belong to East Polk County. Any one can send checks, and money orders to our Administrative Offices. Donations to our Red Kettles in from of Retail Stores during the six weeks before Christmas are greatly appreciated.
  • Gift In Kind Donor

    We can use things in many of our programs: non-expired food cans for our food pantry; new toys and clothing for our Angel Tree Program; used furniture and clothing for our Family Store; and many more things that could help us to help those in need.

  • When you buy, you help.

    The range of quality in the items for sale in our Family Store are from new or almost new to items in reasonable fair condition. Store sales not only cover the Store expenses but are used in our Social Services.

    Our Facebook page is a more dynamic way to let people know what we are doing. When you like it, share a post, add a comment or make a question, you are helping people in need to hear about our services and potential helper (donors and volunteers) to hear about ways to help.
