Angel Tree

Each year, The Salvation Army in Manatee County assists qualified, low-income families with children ranging from newborns to age 12 with Christmas presents. An online registration form will be available for families in September and gifts will be picked up at our Center for Worship, located at 5328 24th Street East, Bradenton 34203 before Christmas. Each family will receive a pickup date and time once the registration process is complete. Registration dates/links will be posted on this website and our Facebook page in September. Space is limited. Priority will go to families who have completed application packets.

To register, families will need to meet the requirements below and supply the following items.  Please have these items ready to upload when completing the application.

  • Children can be infants up to the age of 12 (age on December 25)
  • All applicants must have an email address and telephone number
  • You can select English or Spanish
  • Required documentation:
    1. A copy of your photo ID
    2. Birth certificates for your children
    3. Proof of income (past two month’s check stubs)—letter from DCF stating you receive assistance or a letter sharing your unemployment benefits for July and August are acceptable.
    4. Proof of Manatee County residency—a bill in your name to your Manatee County address

To pick up presents, families will also need to provide:

  • Your appointment letter. If you misplaced your letter, please bring the following:
    1. Photo ID
    2. Copy of lease or mail (preferably a bill) documenting your address
    3. Birth certificates for all registered children
  • If another person is picking up toys on your behalf, please provide a letter naming the person to pick up toys along with a copy of your photo identification.
