Area Commander

Major Ethan Frizzell

Major Ethan Frizzell has over 25 years’ experience in non-profit management with his most recent appointment serving The Salvation Army Division of Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, as the General Secretary. Previously, Major Frizzell has served as the Area Commander, along with his wife, Major Sue Frizzell, of Nashville, Tennessee, Sarasota, Florida, and New Orleans Louisiana. Major Ethan and Sue Frizzell began their appointment with The Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry, and Glades in June of 2023.

Major Ethan Frizzell holds a master’s in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School. His commitment is to “Veritas, Caritas, Civitas”, truth and charity through community.

Specialty services include – Reducing days of homelessness experienced, increasing social mobility opportunities for families, resourcing children’s capacity for full human potential and community based long term recovery.

Associate Corps Officer

Captain Emmanuella Prudent

Captain Emmanuella Prudent comes from the Georgia Division with her three children. She was enrolled as a Soldier Easter Sunday 2010. She was commissioned as a Salvation Army officer in June 2014, member of the Disciples of the Cross session. She has served at the Jonesboro Citadel Corps as the Corps Officer, and at the Atlanta Kroc Center as the Officer for Program Development.

She lived in Haiti and Guadeloupe (French West Indies) until her family relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated with a bachelors in English Literature.
