Volunteers are valuable assets in The Salvation Army's efforts to meet the changing needs of our world. Through the skills and experience, they bring to The Army, volunteers make significant contributions to society by positively impacting the lives of those they assist. Salvation Army volunteers change lives, uplift families and support communities around the world every day.

After School Programs

Child Care Center

Supplies, games and equipment are needed for children ages 1-5. Needs are ongoing, we can care for up to 82 children every day.

Food Pantry

Help is needed all year (extra help needed during November and December). Help collect, sort and pack bags for distribution to needy Collier County families.

Thrift Stores

Red Kettle Campaign

Volunteers are needed to help "Ring the Bells!" It's fun and rewarding. Kettle funds assist Collier County residents with Christmas food, gifts and emergency assistance throughout the year.

We are looking for groups and individuals to take 2-hour shifts or even a whole 8 hour day. Bell Ringers are needed starting November through December 24th (Christmas Eve) excluding Thanksgiving and Sundays. Volunteers ring from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at their chosen location. Kettles will be at more than 75 locations throughout the county.

Call 239-775-9447 and ask for the Kettle Coordinator.

Adopt-A-Family

Choose a family and provide holiday gifts, something for everyone in the family.
