Youth Programs

Youth Programs

The Salvation Army has a variety of programs designed to serve children. Our first priority is to ensure that basic human needs of food, shelter, clothing and safety are met.

Beyond these needs, we recognize that children, especially those who come from troubled backgrounds, need a positive environment in which they can learn and grow.

We have a multitude of after-school programs, daycare centers, and sports leagues in San Francisco.

During the summer we offer a week-long Community Service Camp and bring children to Camp Redwood Glen, our residential camp located in Scotts Valley.

After School Programs

Primarily designed to benefit school age children and their parents, the After School Program provides tutoring and fellowship for children, as well as a light meal.
